Watching The Bees

Today was an absolutely lovely day! For today was the day I watched the bees amongst the spring blossoms, and took these photos of they. As I stood and watched them, it even smelled like spring, as the scent of blossoms filled the air. It was so very were the bees I saw there:

"It's curious to think that we humans may owe our culture, if not our very existence, to bees. Nearly two-thirds of the world's flowers are pollinated by bees and other insects. The majority of fruits, vegetables, grains, and herbs are also dependent on pollinators. Most are propagated by the humble bee..." - from the "Organic Garden Design School" book by Ann Lovejoy
