Same River in Two Spots

Upon our drives up to visit Mr. Livings' parents, on various occasions, we often stop in the town in which Mr. Livings grew up. The very first time I ever met his parents, a few months after he and I met, we stopped in his hometown along the way so that he could show me the house and land where he had grown up, which was important for him to share with me.  Each time we'd stop in his hometown, we'd always stop at the taco wagon in town that he got tacos at all the time in his late teens and early twenties. And then we would walk beside his favorite river path...the place that was his special place he loved to come alone when he was young that now he wanted to share with me...This is a picture of him, above, upon that path today....walking amongst the trees beside the Sacramento River....before we continued north...and stopped at another spot beside that same river...

...in a small town in Northern California, where my dad, for a number of years when he was very young, grew up...

Same river at two spots today...It was so peaceful, sitting beside the water and listening to the river's lovely sounds...
