Oakland Farmers' Market

I walked down to the Grand Lake Farmers' Market in Oakland today, stopping first to drop off some library books at the Lakeview library branch by the lake.  There I saw such lovely daffodils blooming out front as well as these two bike stands with knitted coverings...

I am seeing a lot of these knitted things sprouting up around the city right now...

Then I walked through the Grand Lake Farmers' Market, which is in walking distance from my home...where I saw lots of local fruits and vegetables, livings shopping, bikes parked everywhere that livings had ridden to market, coffee being brewed and sold from bicycle carts, such lovely flowers at the market (the ranunculus, tulips, dahlias, and anemones were all so very beautiful today), as well as plant starts for sale...and local honey. Here are a few pictures of some of the things at the Oakland Farmers' Market that today I did see:

It was a lovely market day!
